Hey, I’m Simone Renee! I started this blog as a creative outlet to express my love for beauty and fashion editorial content. As a graduate with a BA in journalism specializing in editorial reporting, I pictured myself as an editor at a magazine. However, life had other plans and now I am in Marketing and Customer Service at General Motors.
But in 2015, GoodGirlGoneFab was born. Here I talk about makeup a lot but I also want to use this space to show my experience as a Black woman in America. I hope my content is relatable and fun! But also real. I promise whatever you read on GGGF will be my truth.
If you’re a pop culture or music lover, yes the title was indeed inspired by Rihanna’s 2007 Good Girl Gone Bad album. She is my fave person of all time.
As for Fab, it’s how I and my best friend refer to one another. It’s just a lifestyle we’ve created for ourselves.
