If I could only wear lip gloss and my new GoodGirlGoneFab necklace for the rest of my life, I’d be completely happy.
In fact, as much as I love a bold lip, lately all I wear is nude or lightly tinted clear gloss with a liner and I feel like the ultimate GGGF. It’s such an underrated makeup look that gives you a natural, radiant finish, sure to give your pout a spotlight of its own.

- Fenty Beauty by Rihanna’s Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer in “Fenty Glow” $18– I love this lip gloss so much that I’ve used a whole bottle in 4 months. This gloss is described as a shimmering rose nude that provides a universal shine. To me, it has a light pink finish but can also pass a clear gloss. It’s also the gloss I’m wearing for this (and many others) post.
- e.l.f. x Alissa Ashley Lip Gloss in “Nude Rose” – $6 – Although this gloss is currently unavailable, it should be an easy buy for you once it’s restocked! (It’s coming back, I wouldn’t play you, sis.) A $6 gloss that has intense shine, provides Vitamin E and flatters so many colors of women, its a win for sure. It’s a bit pinker on the lips than the gloss listed above.
- NARS Shimmer Lip Gloss in “Orgasm” $26– NARS is a brand that I can say I fully trust with every product I have tried. The same can be said about this shimmer gloss, as it provides a long-lasting shine that is extremely comfortable. It’s a ‘peachy nude’ with some added fun when you want a bit more glam.
- NYX Butter Gloss in “Praline” – $4.99 – NYX is my favorite affordable brand and my love started with the use of this specific gloss. It’s a light to medium coverage nude, lip gloss that provides a natural shine to your lips. I use it with a brown liner and the color combo is beautiful– af.
- Glitz Cosmetics Gloss in the “Queen Gloss” $15 – I told you when I wear a nude gloss and brown liner, I feel Fab. But this gloss makes you feel like thee Queen Fab of them all. It was formulated with women of color in mind and looks great on many skin tones. It also features a LED light in the top for precise application in any lighting.
